Klang may not be familiar to many, but it is actually a highly valuable natural resource. Lampang is the number one exporter of Klang in Thailand and the second-largest exporter in the world. Pim believes that Klang from Lampang has great potential to expand into global markets, as it has multiple uses in various industries, including textiles, cosmetics, food, and medicine. Additionally, it can be developed into biodegradable plastic, which is environmentally friendly and can replace conventional plastic. Promoting Klang on the global stage is not only about economic growth but also about providing a stable income for local communities, preserving local wisdom, and supporting Thailand’s circular economy. As a tourism ambassador for Miss Thailand, Pim hopes to use this opportunity to raise awareness of Thailand’s local products internationally, while showcasing the culture and knowledge of Thai people to the world.
